meh, if you get requested to help someone and they aren't online, take a break from helping them if somebody else needs help.
then again if you're in TNN and you don't have a way to make a pass find a way to get a friend coupon and make the person taht wants help help you make a coupon.

It's just come to my attention that any time there is an app, the aplicant focuses on "i plan to help" "i want to help" and "i can help". as said before, helping is good....tho it can cause problems at times as well. other than "Helping", what is there that you can bring to this guild? It would be a shame for everyone to like the same colors, same shows, same games, and all want to help in the same ways....so what is it that you can bring that is unique to you?

You have beend trapped in a pitch black room in total darkness, and get the option to have one luxury besides the necessary comodities. What would your luxury item be?

contrary to popular belief, blankets, chairs, electricity, heater, books, comp, etc are all luxuries. Just because everyone has them and relies on them doesnt mean they become necessity.

but again i state that if there were electricity, you wouldnt be stuck in a pitch black room now would you.
and even if electricity is necessary for the people who live off of it, wifi is deffinitely a luxury and there are many who survive without it

you have to think about the scenario though.....you are in a pitch black room...thats a FACT. you're also ONLY allowed to have one luxury, thats also a FACT. the what if's and questioning of what is or isnt necessity will NOT change these facts. therefore, these facts set the guidelines of what is considered necessity in THIS scenario. :3

Well, hasn't this question took a left turn at Albuquerque (reference to Bug's Bunny for those that don't know).

The intent is this, what does a person view as something of a need. Yes, the room should be viewed more of as trapped in a prison, or your being held captive. Either way, the person trapping you is most likely not worried about your sanity.

The main point is this, most people often think of something trivial they think they can't be without, rather then an implement by which they might use to escape. If you asked a captor for a laptop, well, whose to say you have electricity, or if he gave you a cord, or even included the batteries in the laptop. None of this was stipulated. Even asking for a cell phone doesn't mean charged, batteries, or even available service.

The point isn't to stir an arguement over whats there or not, but make one expand their mind to think about something to help get out, as oppose to being silly and only suceed in self placating.

Remenber the first answers aren't always the overall best answer, and whenever someone asks you a question like this, grants you a wish and so on, few people actually really stop to think whats truelly best.
